Women and men between the ages of 14 and 70 sing loud and with a lot of emotion, they clap and move to the music:

That's gospel!

Meanwhile, the choir consists of over 60 members, each age group, they meet every Thursday to sing together.

"I'm looking forward to the choir evening with the songs, the singing and the people all week" said Britta Kurbjuweit about the weekly rehearsals. That describes quite well the spirit in the choir.

It meet friends who have known each other for years and again and again new members come into the round, which give the whole new momentum. Through the concerts, choir trips to, for example, Switzerland, Scotland and England and joint workshops, the community and the common sense has grown ever larger.

The gospel choir "Gospelling Souls" celebrated its 20th anniversary with a concert in the event hall Schenefeld.

On 04.11.2017 from 19.30 clock it started in the Schenefeld Music Center.

At the anniversary evening, the new CD of the Gospelling Souls was presented to the public for the first time. With classical and modern European gospels, current pop songs and self-composed songs, the choir has been present in Hanerau-Hademarschen and the wider area for 20 years. After the jubilee concert a new project started. The "Gospelling Kids" are launched under the direction of Berit Evers. "We have a lot of" choir kids "waiting to finally turn 14 so they can sing along with us," says Berit Evers, explaining the idea for the children's choir. She has been singing with the Gospelling Souls for 17 years and in recent years has grown into the role of co-choir director. "I'm looking forward to this task and I'm curious what I get to hear from the children." Since 09.11.2017 is always Thursdays from 17 to 18 clock in the community hall in Hanerau-Hademarschen sung.

All children between 7 and 14 who enjoy singing are welcome to come!
